Approx. 3-4 hourse in the morning – visit of Červený kameň castle in Častá – educational path, Modra – Modra ceramics, Pezinok - Lunch. Castle Červený Kameň (educational path) - Region of Malé Karpaty (sights)

 

 
Region of Malé Karpaty is especially known for its wine traditions and gastronomic specialities presented within the Malé Karpaty wine route, information at www.mvc.sk .

Castle Červený Kameň in Častá dates back to the 13th century. It is a gem of the region known through the largest underground areas, largest and oldest pharmacy from year 1649 and the largest collection of historic furniture in Slovakia. It is a central European unicum with respect to its architectural quality and unique complex of monumental cellar premises. It houses a permanent exposition of furniture, arms, pictures and Salla terena – a unique work of its kind, park, numerous events and the largest collection of birds of pray in Slovakia. Opening hours of Červený Kameň Museum are May – June – Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, Sat – Sun 9am – 6pm. Other months Mon – closed, Tues – Fri 9am – 4pm, Sat- Sun 9am – 5pm. Information at www.snm.sk .

Educational path – new historic-educational path starts and ends in front of the castle, leads through undemanding terrain for about 3 km. For SKK 10, it is possible to buy a guidebook at the castle cash desk. 
Modra - former royal city known for its wine traditions and Modra ceramics produced in Slovenská ľudová majolika / www.majolika.sk /, presentations of ceramics and painting can be regarded and purchased in a shop at the Modra square.

Pezinok – lunch break – also in an old royal town, possible selection from a rich offer of restaurants including stylish Vinum Gallery Bozen at Holubyho 85, www.vinomatysak.sk. Pezinok is also known for its wine traditions and a rich offer of wineries.
